About Master Gardeners
The Master Gardener program is a two-part educational program in which participants receive at least 40 hours of intense horticultural training, pass a final exam, and then donate at least 40 hours of volunteer service in order to complete the program and receive the title of “Clemson Extension Master Gardener”. Master Gardeners assist with garden lectures, exhibits, demonstrations, school and community gardening, phone diagnostic service, research, and many other projects. See our project page for more details.
